1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QuixMe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. QuixMe is operated by AITA Australia Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

QuixMe is an AI-powered study platform that processes user-uploaded content (PDFs, YouTube videos, and text) to generate study materials including notes, flashcards, quizzes, editable documents, and AI chat interactions. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze and transform your content into study aids.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to QuixMe. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and transform your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded materials.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload any content you submit to the Service, and that your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by QuixMe's AI (notes, flashcards, quizzes, documents, and chat responses) is provided for educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should verify important information independently. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated study materials.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Use the Service to infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service beyond normal usage
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access a single account
• Use generated content to misrepresent AI-created work as your own original work in academic settings where this is prohibited

7. Fair Use & Usage Limits

QuixMe implements fair use policies to ensure equitable access for all users. Free accounts are subject to monthly processing limits. If your usage exceeds the fair use threshold (currently $15/month in AI processing costs), some premium features may be temporarily limited. Paid plans offer higher or unlimited usage thresholds.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of AITA Australia Pty Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AITA Australia Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and your uploaded content may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
